Princess Mary's wedding coach

All this week the World of Royalty Blog is featuring images from the new book Royal Weddings Through Time by Janette McCutcheon. Today's photo shows the wedding coach of King George V's daughter, Princess Mary, who married Henry, Viscount Lascelles in 1922.

Mary's husband became the 6th earl of Harewood in 1929, and Mary herself received the title Princess Royal in 1932. She died in 1965.

  1. What lovely photos of the late Princess Royal, Countess of Harewood. Her son, George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood, died recently.
