"The Middletons have become avatars of aspiration," says TIME Magazine, which has named Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa to its 2012 list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. The emir of Qatar, Sheik Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani, also made the list.
