If I could only read one of these books, I would pick Women Shall Not Rule because we rarely see books on topics like this. Which would you choose?
For goodness sake!!! Will someone in authority say something to these brainless so called"authors"to stop writing all these tired and very boring novels on invented and or obscure Tudor or other ancient British royalty!!! Write something new and exciting maybe even about early 20th century European royalty . Their lack of creativity no longer warrants them as writers.they just write this kind of garbage because they're the lowest denominators in good literature and source for inspiration. STOP IT WITH THESE UGLY TRASHY FAUX non-existing non historical ancient English Royals . I'm sick of the same garbage about the families of Henry VIII, Anne Bolyen, and Elizabeth I.
A few years ago I was wishing there were more novels about the Tudors! Now, as you say, there are too many. There are always fads. I think this one was triggered by the TV series "The Tudors." I'd like to see more historical novels about non-British royals. So many interesting topics get overlooked, but things are improving thanks to the boom in self-publishing, I think.
