Queen's Gambit: A Novel by Elizabeth Fremantle. Widowed for the second time at age 31, Katherine Parr falls for dashing courtier Thomas Seymour, but also attracts the attentions of King Henry VIII.
The Shores of Paradise by Shirley Streshinsky. Fictional account of four people in the final decades of the 1800s, including Princess Kaiulani, heiress apparent to the Hawaiian throne.
Publication dates are subject to change. For a list of all new royalty books published in August 2013, visit the Royalty.nu Books page on August 1.
If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would definitely pick "The King in the North" because it's rare to see books about England's Anglo-Saxon kings. Which book would you choose?
