Sneak peek: January 2014 new royalty books

Merry Christmas! Here's a sneak peek at some of the new books on royal topics scheduled for publication next month. (As always, publication dates are subject to change.)

The Woodvilles by Susan Higginbotham. The Wars of the Roses and England's most infamous family. (Nonfiction.)

Spanish King of the Incas by Ana Maria Lorandi. A 17th century Spanish man from an ordinary family, Pedro Bohórques presented himself as a descendent of Inca royalty and quickly rose to power as a king among the Calchaquíes of Tucumán in what is now Argentina. (Update: This paperback is currently unavailable; see below for a link to another edition of the book.)

The Queen's Dwarf: A Novel by Ella March Chase. Young dwarf Jeffrey Hudson becomes a spy in the household of English king Charles I's wife, Henrietta Maria.

You'll find a full list of January's new royalty books on the Royalty.nu New Royal Books page on/after New Year's Day.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would choose Spanish King of the Incas because it intrigues me. Which book would you choose?

March 2014 UPDATE: I originally linked to a paperback version of Spanish King of the Incas that is no longer available. However, as it turns out, this is NOT a new book, and an older hardcover version is still available.
