Sneak peek: June 2014 new royalty books

Here's a sneak peek at a few of the new books about royalty scheduled for publication next month!

The Third Plantagenet by John Ashdown-Hill. A biography of King Richard III's unpredictable brother George, Duke of Clarence.

Queen Victoria: A Life of Contradictions by Matthew Dennison. This biography assesses Victoria's mercurial character.

By the Spear by Ian Worthington. Philip II, Alexander the Great, and the rise and fall of the Macedonian Empire.

The Annals of King T'aejo translated by Byonghyon Choi. The first English translation of the official history of the reign of King T'aejo, founder of Korea's Choson dynasty (1392-1910 AD).

As always, publication dates are subject to change. The full list of new royalty books will appear on the Royal Books page in June.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would probably select The Third Plantagenet in hopes of learning whether the Duke of Clarence was really drowned in a cask of wine, as legend says. Which book would you choose?
