Sneak peek at June 2018 new royalty books

There's an absolute avalanche of new royalty books scheduled for publication next month. (Maybe it's the Meghan Effect!) Here's your sneak peek.

Royal Babies by Alison James. The pleasures and pitfalls of British royal pregnancies, births and babies.

Edward II, the Man by Stephen Spinks. A biography of the controversial English king whose thirst for revenge created a 14th-century tragedy.

The Race to Save the Romanovs by Helen Rappaport. This book details the failed plots to rescue the last tsar of Russia's family.

The Royal Art of Poison by Eleanor Herman. Traces the use of poison as a political tool in the royal courts of Western Europe.

The Game of Hope by Sandra Gulland. Fiction for young adult readers. It is 1798, and Hortense de Beauharnais's mother has married Napoleon Bonaparte, soon to be the most powerful man in France.

As always, publication dates are subject to change. The full list of new royalty books (and it's a long one) will be published on the Royalty.nu Books page on June 1. But why wait till then? You can visit Royalty.nu right now to see all of April and May's newly published books!

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would probably pick the one about Edward II because it has a great cover and looks interesting. Which book would you choose?

  1. I would choose Edward II, the Man by Stephen Spinks, Christian IV: Denmark's Great Renaissance King by Jens Gunni Busck, Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid (by the same author), and The Race to Save the Romanovs by Helen Rappaport, because the Medieval, Renaissance, and Modern are my favorite periods in royal history. 😉

  2. UPDATE: The publication date for the Crown Series books about Danish monarchs has been changed to August, according to Amazon.com, so I removed two books from the above list.
