Happy holidays! Here's your sneak peek at some of next month's new royalty books. (As always, publication dates are subject to change.)

George IV: King in Waiting by Stella Tillyard. Biography of the British royal, who filled his days with women, art, food, wine, fashion.

Queen Victoria by Lucy Worsley. Recreates the most important days in the British monarch's life.

Before Wallis by Rachel Trethewey. About future King Edward VIII's adoration for Rosemary Leveson Gower, Freda Dudley Ward, and Thelma Furness.

For the full list of January's new royalty books, visit the Royalty.nu Books page on or after the first day of the month.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I'd probably pick the one about Henry VIII because, well, I always pick any book about Henry VIII. Which book would you choose?
