Sneak peek at August 2019 new royalty books

August is just around the corner, and with it a new crop of books on royal topics. Here's your sneak peek.

Alexander the Great by Anthony Everitt. This biography judges Alexander's life against the criteria of his age.

The Life and Legend of the Sultan Saladin by Jonathan Phillips. The triumphs, failures, and contradictions of one of the Crusades' most unique figures.

John: An Evil King? by Nick Vincent. Biography of one of England's most complex and despised kings.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex by Alison James. An illustrated look at the Duchess's fashion choices.

Commodus by Simon Turney. Fictional account of the life of the Roman emperor.

As always, publication dates are subject to change. The full list of new royalty books will be published on the Royalty.nu Books page on August 1. But why not go there right now to see the May, June, and July new books lists?

If I could read only one of the books listed above, my choice would be… difficult to make. I'd probably choose Alexander the Great or The Life and Legend of the Sultan Saladin. Which book(s) would you select?
